I am totally immersed in an exploration of color and shape, light and shadow. Trying to push past what is literal into the feeling and sensual world, following the voice from a place deep within me. Elements of our earthly and spiritual worlds, the human body, the space they occupy and the effects of light always seem to capture my soul and harken to a mystical tie to nature and my intrigue with line and form.
   My journey in painting continues to open new doors, while being slightly coy. One step leads to the next, always slightly elusive challenging me to go further, only giving what I am ready to recieve.
   A heightened awareness of sight, sound, thought and feeling come into play as I delve into this world of paint and self expression, casting a spell over all of my senses.
